Renttoo Deposit-Free
Renting without a deposit.
No hassle when there's damage.
Your renter ties up no money. Renttoo checks every renter and handles damage for you.
The problem
A deposit stops
people renting.
Renters
Hundreds of euros on hold for one day of renting. Many people don't book, or buy instead.
Owners
Your own insurance stops the moment you rent out. Chasing damage yourself takes time, and sometimes you never get paid.
Payments
iDEAL can't hold money. A credit card hold expires after about 7 days.
The solution
No deposit.
We handle the rest.
Everyone verified
Passport + selfie via Stripe. No anonymous renters.
The renter stays liable
Up to the item's current value, plus collection costs. Nothing is held upfront.
We collect for you
Renttoo assesses the claim and chases the renter. You spend no time on it.
Don't want to wait? Sell your claim
Once liability is final, you can sell your claim to Renttoo. Paid within 2 business days.
Step by step
How it works
From the first booking to a settled claim: the entire process runs through the platform.
Everyone verified
ID check via Stripe Identity (passport + selfie) before the first booking. So you know who's renting.
No deposit on any booking
Renttoo Deposit-Free is included in every booking by default. Your renter pays no deposit and there's no opt-out.
Report damage
Something broken or not returned? Report it within 48 hours after the return photos, with a description, photos and evidence. Renttoo assesses the claim. The renter and the owner can each object once, within 5 business days.
The renter pays
Once the claim is decided, the renter pays within 5 business days, up to the item's value. If the renter doesn't pay in time, a registered collection partner takes over.
When there's damage

Every step has a fixed deadline. Once the renter pays, it's done.
